I recommend Mr. Nitesh Jain. I have known him for the past one and Nitesh’s final year project – Study of chillers, improvement in efficiency of chillers and desing of fixture for assembly of motor of centralized chiller too was under my guidance. During this tenure I have had the opportunity to objectively evaluate his performance and hope my candid assessment will help the Admissions Committee to make a positive decision in his favor.

As a student Nitesh is very diligent. He has a quick grasping power and makes sure that he fully understands the fundamentals and applies these concepts to more challenging problems. Nitesh’s scholastic aptitude is much more than that reflected in his grades. His scope of learning is not only confined to academics but in other fields beyond the conventional forms of learning.

Nitesh’s project work gave me a very good idea about his qualities as an individual. He brought in front of me his ability to work successfully as part of a team towards common project goals. I had gone through his project report, which was very meticulously done. The project presentation showed how well coordinated Nitesh was with team mates and how smoothly & fluently he executed the presentation. The appreciation of the project from the whole Mechanical Department is evident from the fact that Nitesh’s project was awarded the 2rd prize in Project Poster Presentation Competition out of the those 60 projects.

Nitesh has been equally impressive on the sports front. He has participated in numerous cricket and football competitions and was the Captain of Somiya Hostel Engineering Cricket team.

Since Nitesh has also seeked training at National Power training institute at Nagpur which will also add to his advantages in future.

I have found that Nitesh has been an intelligent, obedient and well mannered student who shared an excellent rapport with his teachers as well as his classmates. I am sure he will put forth all his effort into any task that he confronts. Hence I have no hesitation in recommending Nitesh for graduate studies in MSc in Mechanical Engineering from University of Glasgow in UK.

I feel that his efficiency and potential for research makes him one of the truly outstanding candidates I have come across.
