I have a dream to become a SCM Head. After I passed My High School Exam My School Friend, who is my best friend also suggested me to take a commerce stream. So I took the same. After finishing the 12th & B-Com, my first job was with an ICICI Bank New Delhi in accounts Deptt. During my stay there, I developed accounts, commercial abilities which later helped in my carrier growth as well as in my higher studies, as I was able to visualize the practical importance of the theory taught in the education. After completing two year at ICICI Bank I realized the need to further upgrade my experience and joined Citadel Architectural Solutions P Ltd New Delhi as a Sr. Admin Executive for one year. After that for more experience I had joined Dish TV New Delhi as a service manager for developing my service abilities to customer for another two years. It again helped me to understand total customer satisfaction in supply chain management.

After completing two years at Dish TV I moved to a Bath Line India P Ltd New Delhi reputed bathroom accessories manufacturing company as a Sr. Executive SCM for understanding the supply chain management & logistic operations in India It was a great breakthrough in my carrier. By being innovative and by using value analysis techniques I implemented some good cost reduction initiatives. The learning was also tremendous. While working with Bath Line India P Ltd I gained expertise enough for giving consultancy in supply Chain and manufacturing Domains and Joined a Pipe Manufacturing Industry named Swastik Pipe Ltd. at New Delhi as a Junior Commercial Manager for Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing. Here I was able to apply all my practical experience to help our customers enhance their business process by customizing the ERP software according to there needs. After completing one year there I had moved to Merino Industries Ltd at Hapur as an Astt. Manager Commercial for understanding the dept. of commercial and Logistics. Here I had also understand the fact of total quality management & after working for approximately for one year I had joined PCI LTD at New Delhi at the same post for coming back to my city for marriage & in just three & half month I had confirmed my services with a increment in salary & promote to Dy. Manager Commercial that it’s now approx one year since I am working here and I am clear that my future career lies in the domain of commercial, logistic and SCM. My strength is my analytical skills, and sound techno commercial background. My limitations are in International, Logistics and strategic Planning.

In brief I have worked pretty well at an operational level and developed good technical as well as commercial skills. The thought of pursuing an MSc in International Logistics & Supply Chain Management at this stage seems to be the most logical next step towards building the blocks for my future endeavors. First and foremost, this course would help me sharpen my skills in the areas of International Logistics, strategic planning and use of SAP software for efficient and Economical Management of supply chain systems. It will enhance my overall knowledge of management subject that will allow me to exercise better control over business. It also enlivens me to think that the MSc in UK. I want International exposure and I believe is a necessity. The diversity in work environment and culture will be better prepare me to face the impact of different actions, thoughts, values and cultures on business the world over. The international character of MSc in International Logistics & Supply Chain Management from University in Glamorgan specifically addresses my needs in terms of quality. The curriculum offered is in accordance with my learning goals.

My short term goal is to take experience in one of the World’s best Logistics firms, whose multicultural and transnational business interests would give me a representation of the diverse International business environments. An MSc will empower me to significantly contribute towards the Organization Goals; I will work with, along with Personal and Professional growth.

My long-term career goal is to return to India and set up my own Logistics firm. India, with its recently opened economy, offers tremendous growth and opportunities in this field and I have my belongingness deeply rooted to my motherland. MSc from UK along with my work experience and international exposure will give me enough skills and confidences to create a Great Organization which will not only provide Employment to hundreds of peoples but will also play a significant role in growth of Nation’s Economy.
