A firm believer in the power of possibilities and not in the limitations imposed upon us, I always strive to perform to the best of my capabilities. Ever since I gained my sensibilities, I have felt the inner drive to push beyond my comfort zone and make my place in every pursuit of life, no matter how small. Since childhood I have been a go-getter and have never refrained from hard work.

My schooling years at Uttarakhand and New Delhi were instrumental in building a sound foundation and a well groomed personality which also helped me through my college years as a confident young person. Up to class 10th, my interests were in mathematics and science. My leadership qualities came to the forefront when I led my house in the school for three academic years responsible for maintaining discipline and decorum as well as activity participating in the inter-house competition.

I entered the portals of college bubbling with energy and some trepidation for a new future which provides me the freedom to grow and feel the world around me. The first year I was caught up in frenzy of activities participating in co-curricular activities and being a part of the team managing mega events like fairs, annual days, inter college competition.

As a person I am quite straight forward and a firm believer in plain speaking. I possess good interpersonal skills with flair for leadership. Throughout my school and college days. I shared a good rapport with my batch mates. Most of them shared their problems and concerns with me and I tried to solve their problems to the best of my abilities.

A firm believer in humanity, I looked around to work in NGO after getting a proper training in NGO management. I decided to attend a Diploma course of one year in the field and have completed the same properly. This has given me insight into the concepts of management.

To get on the job training, I have been working as HR & Marketing Communication Intern in St Andrew’s School, where I am handling accounts, marketing and communication, human resource and almost all the aspects of general management for almost a year now.

Thus having got a taste of management and administration, I aspire to have sound footing which can see me well settled in challenging administration job and help me to start my own NGO which will help me to educate and look after the needs of the challenged children.

While searching for a proper program, I found that Master’s in International Business from Leeds Metropolitan University in UK fulfills my needs to acquire global strategies and vision required to succeed in the complex world of big corporate. My Grandfather is a Sole Proprietor of a firm name as IMPERIAL METAL MART. The firm is a dealer/stockist of JINDAL ALUMINIUM LTD. since September 1984, with a main objective to supply sophisticated quality Aluminum Extrusions in India.

My father is a graduate from Delhi University and after completing his graduation he had joined our family business and has taken the business to great height. In a short span of time, he has geared up to large variety of Aluminum Extrusion products and Aluminum Architectural products.

Belonging to a business family, and having exposure to business, my fascination has always been in the way businesses are run and hence my interest in business management. To continue the legacy of growth of our family business, the family including myself believe that after completing my education there is plenty of scope and requirement for me back here in the family business.

My schooling has been done in Delhi Public School which is the best of its kind in our city.

I have always been great in my studies and scored very good marks in my school. I had been rewarded by a Proficiency Award for securing 5 A1’s in class XII, CBSE. I was also involved in various curricular activities.

After finishing my schooling I joined Ramjas College, Delhi University for doing graduation. As I was always interested in doing business so I choose B.Com. (Hons.) as a course for graduation. I also joined my family business in my vacation for practical knowledge. I was very good in studies in my college and was always involved in various curricular activities. I secured very good score in my first year and I am working hard in third year to secure first division in college.

Now with a sound schooling from one of the reputed schools in India, graduation from one of the best Universities in India and some experience in the business field, I want to be precise about my career and pursue in the field of MSc in Entrepreneurship. I am confident that choosing the course offered by Essex University would significantly impact my professional life and would equip me with comprehensive, specialized and rigorous professional training in all aspects of business management.

I want to learn, gain experience and finally to come back to run the family business. Also want to achieve new heights of success and to make my family, my school and my college proud of my achievements.

I always wanted to be a self made person, an entrepreneur who would sketch his own future, even though I belong to a family where business is a legacy. The world of business has always been an area of utmost curiosity for me and as it is a well-known fact – curiosity leads to learning. I have centered my learning in and around the network of business.

This is why I believe an MSc International Business and Entrepreneurship from University of Essex is an ideal course for me. The course has the right blend of business knowledge combined with all the necessary skills that an entrepreneur needs to learn.

Being a student of one of the most renowned schools of Central India, I have had the best of education so far. My alma mater has helped me shape my personality tremendously. Among the various subjects that were a part of my curriculum Economics and Business studies were my favorites. Studying the dynamics of business and knowing how the economy of an organization at a micro level and that of the nation at the macro level works arrested my interest.

I believe that Trade and Commerce are like blood for the veins of any developing or developed nation. Through various sources to information like newspapers and business magazines I have gathered that Business in its various forms is the center of any activity. I aspire to have a business that would surpass existing international standards and set higher standards for the future years. This would not only satiate my quench of making a career but also help me contribute positively to my society and the customer.

During one’s career as a student pursuing his education one mostly acquires theoretical knowledge, from books and lectures. However practical application of the knowledge gained is more important.

As a person always full of enthusiasm and fervor, I judiciously channelised my energy into sports. Cricket is my favorite sport, this particular game has very subtly made me understand that success is evident if you know how to organize and motivate your team. It is an apt example for unwavering aim, high degree of concentration and team work, which according to me are the core qualities essential in a person aspiring to succeed. I was a part of an International Cricket Competition and during my stay at London and Yorkshire for this competition I was amazed to see how one common passion can make people of diverse cultures come together and celebrate true freedom – freedom of sportsmanship.

Challenges are like fuel to dynamism, as they provide inspiration and confidence to outstrip any hurdle. Being a go-getter by nature I have always set high quality targets and then spared no efforts in achieving them. I aim to achieve the best possible education so that I have the required skills to build up a successful career for myself. The very coherent curriculum of your university complimented with the expertise of your faculty members serve to be the right educational environment for me. I am confident that being a part of your university I would grow into an enterprising and outstanding graduate.
