Introducing myself as Professor Bhushan M. Pradhan I take pleasure to write few lines for Mr. Nitesh Jain a former student of the K. J .Somaiya College of Engineering. I am glad that he has decided to apply in Newcastle University for MS Mechanical Engineering.
Having known him for the last 1 year I have instructed him in 1) Automobile Engineering-I 2) Automobile Engineering-II. In these subjects, Nitesh’s performance has been above average. He has shown great promise by venturing beyond the scope of the subject syllabi.
Nitesh exhibits a high degree of initiative in continuously striving to update his knowledge especially by referring to Technical Magazines. He ensures that his concepts are clear and therefore, he is an active participant in classroom. A remarkable feature that I find in Nitesh is that he is very open to suggestions and advice while working in a team. He is extremely well mannered with his teachers as well as his classmates.
Balancing between his personal and academic activities is one of the significant qualities of Nitesh had done his final year project at “BLUESTAR THANE” and had won second prize at the Project Poster Presentation competition organized by MESA (Mechanical Engineering Students Association). At this point of time I found that Nitesh handled the task efficiently while motivating and urging his peers to work together to the best of their abilities. I have been particularly impressed with the creativity in his ideas. Nitesh has got training experience at National Power Training Institute NPTI Nagpur which would surely be advantageous in future.
Being a witness to this kind of dedication I undoubtedly rate his research capabilities as promising. I wish him all the very best in his future endeavors and strongly recommend him for admission at your university and also for extension of financial assistance.
